Overview

This is usually the most popular group with visitors to a birders website and includes the owls as well as the easier to think of raptors such as buzzards and kestrels.  This selection includes some taken at the Barn Owl Centre in Gloucestershire where largely rescued and captive bred birds are kept.  The kites are from Gigrin Farm red kite feeding station in Wales and from the Chiltern Hills.  Two of the Barn Owl photographs are from The Somerset Levels, my local patch.
